‘I do choose. Be made clean!’ Mark 1, 40
In my comings and goings I saw that the people of today carry lots and lots of burdens in their heart !! Fears, anger and many , many sins ! Over the years many smaller or greater , willingly or unwillingly committed , stumbling, sins and these “poisons “ are present in our lives , they pull us down, choking us, making our everyday a burden !! Unfortunately because we are not prepared to face them, or if we sweep them under the carpet  , despite all that they still happen , they are  there !! The man of our days by belittling , smearing them , forgot about repentance , reconciliation, starting anew the different methods of healing the body and the spirit !! Willingly or unwillingly we find ourselves in a world where we think naively like in the fairytales !! Unfortunately the fairies and dragons , the chemically pure good or bad people only exist there ! Here walking on this earth all of us erode , get dirty ! Only the great saints managed to get through life clean for a long time often through alleys leading to the core , but despite this they also cleansed their spirits in the waters of repentance, reconciliation !!
Jesus wants us to live our lives in our dignity as the children of God, clearly, happily , freely ! He forgives gladly His erring , sinning disciples , just like the father of the prodigal son his returning son forgiving lovingly , reconciling having a jubilee ! After Good Friday He does not reproach Peter and the rest of them for their little faith sins, but on the sores of the Sea of Galilei He bakes fish and reconciles , trustingly , reorganising the community He moves on "!4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? 5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.”Luke 15, 4-7
We have an Advocate, Mediator in heaven , lets not drag along  our sins, our trespasses , lets admit our smallness , our fallible weakness and with each other but also with our Creator God as well lets become reconciled , repentance, admitting sincerely our weaknesses , will free us , give us strength , will transform not only us , but our relationships with the world , our families ,our fellow human beings !
I lovingly share with you the teachings of the Catholic Church on the sacrament of reconciliation !! Lets dare humbly repent , it is quite certain that Jesus will also tell me what He said to the leper :"‘I do choose. Be made clean!’ Mark 1, 40
Looking to be cleansed in the waters of repentance,

The Word of God
A leper came to him begging him, and kneeling he said to him, ‘If you choose, you can make me clean.’ Moved with pity, Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, and said to him, ‘I do choose. Be made clean!’ Immediately the leprosy left him, and he was made clean. After sternly warning him he sent him away at once, saying to him, ‘See that you say nothing to anyone; but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing what Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.’ But he went out and began to proclaim it freely, and to spread the word, so that Jesus could no longer go into a town openly, but stayed out in the country; and people came to him from every quarter.
