It is very easy to love someone in the short term, to charm them with gifts, nice words. God loves us with an everlasting love and we should also have to be prepared for such long term love , to be fruitful, to bear fruits. I try to love our children in such a way , that even years later they’ll feel that I was there for their benefit, for their help.
