Courage ! Saint Theresa of Avila said, that one of God’s gift is the spirit of courage , as He cannot accomplish anything either  with  timid, easily frightened spirits !! One needs courage for prayer as well, as I a stumbling , small-minded person how could I dare to disturb,  trouble my Creator ?Even though in today’s gospel our Lord Jesus Christ is encouraging us to do jut that !  He uses the persistent stubbornness of a grumpy widow   as an example for us , who has not got a chance , but because she does not give up her own goal , even here on earth she can achieve it with the unjust judge !!
Can I, do I dare to to put into words my request either in a novena or even during the holy time of the approaching Advent period !!? What do I ask from the “angel” for Christmas for myself, for my loved ones , for my people !! How sadly the words of the apostle  Saint James sound : "When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives!” Saint James 4,3
Courage , with love ,

Jesus told his disciples a parable
about the necessity for them to pray always without becoming weary.
He said, "There was a judge in a certain town
who neither feared God nor respected any human being.
And a widow in that town used to come to him and say,
'Render a just decision for me against my adversary.'
For a long time the judge was unwilling, but eventually he thought,
'While it is true that I neither fear God nor respect any human being,
because this widow keeps bothering me
I shall deliver a just decision for her
lest she finally come and strike me.'"
The Lord said, "Pay attention to what the dishonest judge says.
Will not God then secure the rights of his chosen ones
who call out to him day and night?
Will he be slow to answer them?
I tell you, he will see to it that justice is done for them speedily.
But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”
Luke 18, 1-8
