How great it is, that our Lord Jesus Christ notices the poor widow’s two small coins as well, keeping it in evidence ! Very often we tend to “ devalue" ourselves , regarding as small, insignificant  what we have, what we can give, do out of love and this way we become as though the wind has been taken out of our sails, we don’t even attempt to do what we are capable of doing ! When we become exasperated seeing our own weakness, clumsiness , lets remember the poor woman’s two small coins , that Jesus not only appreciated , noticed but even set it as example for all of us !
Saint Therese of Lisieux said that there is no small or great deed , only insignificant or great love….Lets carry out the everyday small tasks with great love and all praise to God who not only grants us the growth but certainly multiplies our efforts ! The one who remains true, faithful in little things , will be entrusted with a lot ! Lets accept the tasks according to our strengths , lets embark on the way of love , lets do everything that we can and lets trust the rest to our God !
With love,
Father Csaba

When Jesus looked up he saw some wealthy people
putting their offerings into the treasury
and he noticed a poor widow putting in two small coins.
He said, "I tell you truly,
this poor widow put in more than all the rest;
for those others have all made offerings from their surplus wealth,
but she, from her poverty, has offered her whole livelihood.”
Luke 21, 1-4
