Christianity is the religion of joy ! Jesus is not saying that whoever wants to follow me to wipe out any desire from oneself of ambition , thirsting after a sense of achievement and dare to be insignificant, weak and fallible . But bravely He says , that it is good if you want to be great, be the greatest in your family , in society! He even tells you how you can become great, the greatest :whoever wants to become the greatest should be the servant of all.If you take upon your shoulder the worries , problems , difficulties of your companions and you try to solve those with the love of a lesser brother , humbly, if you can be at the service of your fellow human beings with a pure heart , then for him you’ll be irreplaceable , important and this way you’ll be precious in the eyes of God as well really , really great in other words you’ll become a saint . The one who unselfishly takes upon his shoulders the burdens, worries and problems   of his local parish, his people ,even more so of mankind and enclosing them in his heart looks for answers for their questions , even though  as a burning candle for the community is consumed , yet his life for many becomes a blessing . There are so many difficulties , problems needing solutions in people’s lives . According to the christlike interpretation for a person “aiming high”  these problems are the real gifts , noble trophies . Of course it is not easy to swim to a person drowning in the water and saving their lives by pulling them ashore . A desperate man is kicking and can easily cause us pain, and moreover the danger exists that he can pull you down into the deep , but in the end no-one has a greater love than the one who gives his life for his own !
Seeing a child in trouble we can shrug our shoulders , we can be judgemental over the parents, society , we can blame the Church , the mayor, the different state organisations , but by doing all this the child still won’t be fed . The time is passing, the fabric of society is fraying . We have to dress into new clothing our big family slowly reaching eight billion. Our Creator God quite certainly does not want us to join the ranks of the complaining , the ones even feeling sorry for the fraying, old clothes , but He wants us that in the light of His gospel out of love to cut out, sew new clothes , to formulate very humbly , with the example of our live’s  toilsome work the  rules of new type of coexistence . Our duty is not waiting for the end of the world , but the building of the kingdom of God. We should not be talking to each other in the voice of downhearted  hopelessness but with the voice of good brethren looking for a way out, giving hope , courage. Be an answer to the questions , be a healing balm for the wounds , be bread for the hungry , fresh water for the thirsty and then you’ll become great, the greatest and not only for your brothers in trouble, struggling with problems but in the eyes of our heavenly Father as well !
With love,
Father Csaba

The Word of God
They went on from there and passed through Galilee. Jesus did not want anyone to know it; for he was teaching his disciples, saying to them, "The Son of Man is to be betrayed into human hands, and they will kill him, and three days after being killed, he will rise again." But they did not understand what he was saying and were afraid to ask him. Then they came to Capernaum; and when he was in the house he asked them, "What were you arguing about on the way?" But they were silent, for on the way they had argued with one another who was the greatest. He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, "Whoever wants to be first must be last of all and servant of all." Then he took a little child and put it among them; and taking it in his arms, he said to them, "Whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes not me but the one who sent me."
