"the kingdom of God will be …. given to a people that produces the fruits of the kingdom.” Mt 21, 45
The main aim of the man of our days is to have everything for their comfort , to avoid conflicts , difficulties in short to have a good time .
Jesus Christ in today’s gospel is talking about fruit crop. For Him it is not important how the tenants of the vineyard are feeling, what sort of clothes they wear of what they think of one another , but whether their lives , work produces fruit ? Reading Jesus’ words I should think about what did I learn , what useful work did I do in school, in my workplace ? Did I become a little bit the  wiser , cleverer , has the world become better, nicer though my work ?!Did I manage to produce a couple of fruits of mercy for my brothers ?
Time can easily be spent by having a good time , spend days, weeks , years by doing nothing . We court, flirt , we come and go,  trying to seem important , but how much useful work did I actually do ?? Our own sustenance is very important , but that in itself is not enough by a long chalk , the question is  what did I do for the people living around me in the past weeks , month ? On the soccer field  at the of the match they are not looking how much running has one done, or how they felt, or how their jersey looked but how many goals did they score ? You can plan, dream for years but the big question is out of dreams, plans on what you worked on how much has actually become a reality ?
Jesus Christ says ”  I chose you, and put you in the world to bear fruit, fruit that won’t spoil ! “ If this would be my hour of death what could I show , as “ripe, tasty fruit “ to my loving creator God ?
With love,
Father Csaba

The Word of God
Jesus said: "Listen to another parable. There was a landowner who planted a vineyard, put a fence around it, dug a wine press in it, and built a watchtower. Then he leased it to tenants and went to another country. When the harvest time had come, he sent his slaves to the tenants to collect his produce. But the tenants seized his slaves and beat one, killed another, and stoned another. Again he sent other slaves, more than the first; and they treated them in the same way. Finally he sent his son to them, saying, 'They will respect my son.' But when the tenants saw the son, they said to themselves, 'This is the heir; come, let us kill him and get his inheritance." So they seized him, threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him. Now when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?" They said to him, "He will put those wretches to a miserable death, and lease the vineyard to other tenants who will give him the produce at the harvest time." Jesus said to them, "Have you never read in the scriptures: 'The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; this was the Lord's doing, and it is amazing in our eyes'? Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people that produces the fruits of the kingdom. When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they realized that he was speaking about them. They wanted to arrest him, but they feared the crowds, because they regarded him as a prophet."
Matthew 21:33-43, 45-46
