Like mushrooms after the rain growing out from the ground , lately, so are the whinging , complaining, bitter people, finding faults, something wicked in their companions, even in the whole world! Where do all these hypocritical pharisees , so much negativity, bitterness in the hearts come from !?
For ten days I travelled with Izabella whose picture you can see, and with her fifteen companions . What they have in common that all of them are my lovely, nice, talented children! They performed together a nice play by Heltai Jenő “Néma Levente “. Izabella is in year seven , she played the servant girl in the play , but the lovely smile seen on her face in the picture never left her face ! She lives in one of our Child Protection homes just like her companions , but during these very demanding, tiring ten days I always saw them so beautiful, smiling ,Jesus could have taken any  one of them sitting on His lap to be an example for us !!Lets not forget our Master’s words :"“Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”Matthew 18,3
Just think , why would you have to live your life as a sour pharisee looking for faults in others !? Why could you not be cheerful, jolly child , placed as a model in front of us , or the modest widow who withdrawn into herself quietly does her own chores?
Lets learn from Izabella , from the orphans who may not have much yet with gratitude in their hearts are capable by thanking God, and our supporters are living their lives !!!
With love,
Father Csaba
translated by dr k.e.
38As he taught, he said, “Beware of the scribes, who like to walk around in long robes, and to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces, 39and to have the best seats in the synagogues and places of honor at banquets! 40They devour widows’ houses and for the sake of appearance say long prayers. They will receive the greater condemnation.”
41He sat down opposite the treasury, and watched the crowd putting money into the treasury. Many rich people put in large sums. 42A poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which are worth a penny.43Then he called his disciples and said to them, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the treasury. 44For all of them have contributed out of their abundance; but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.”
Mark 12, 38-44
