The Father will honour whoever serves me.” John 12,26….. and what is awaiting the one who is not serving God ?? I think the same as in yesterday’s gospel awaited the foolish virgins ! They did not fulfil the task entrusted to them and they could not enter the heavenly wedding feast ! God loves us free of charge , but from His love fruit should be born in our lives , otherwise  the the barren fig tree ’s fate will be our fate as well !! Lets not kid ourselves , life has a price and if we want to keep it pass it onto our children, grandchildren all that is of value , then we have to strive for it , and complete day after day the tasks entrusted to us by God.
With love,
Father Csaba
translated by dr k.e.
Jesus said to his disciples:
"Amen, amen, I say to you,
unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies,
it remains just a grain of wheat;
but if it dies, it produces much fruit.
Whoever loves his life loses it,
and whoever hates his life in this world
will preserve it for eternal life.
Whoever serves me must follow me,
and where I am, there also will my servant be.
The Father will honour whoever serves me."
Gospel Jn 12:24-26
