We should be pointing to the road  leading to happiness. The person who is  happy , is the one who loves truly, with a pure heart. The person who is joyful is the one who can forgive from the bottom of his heart. The person who is really happy is the one who can be gladly kind-hearted and make wise decisions. If we could show our children this road , then perhaps they could discover more easily that to say “yes” , that we promise either on the way of love , either in marriage or in the priesthood , that is an important milestone of the road leading to happiness..

I am convinced that it is not only the kingdom of heaven where we won’t get into , unless we become like children, but in this torn apart world even the survival of our people without this spirituality will not stand a chance ! We have to learn happily resuming this flexible , singing with a pure heart mentality from our children ! I would really like that together with the Christ Child the focus of our attention  this childlike , happy, pure spirituality becomes again.

I believe in the teaching of God’s Son and not in the dogmas of His prophet.

I believe that faith should not be spread by fire and brimstone , but can be done with heart and soul.I believe that man can repent in this world and according to the teaching of the two thousand year old Church the priests have the power to absolve the repentant sinner….. All this does not turn us against the others , but my conviction is that the teaching of the Catholic Church is standing on broader foundation, and is wider, bigger richer than theirs.

We are wanderers here in this world, lets dare to get going, by taking each other’s hands, bravely towards our Creator God ! We belong together , and if we do not let go of each other’s hand then quite certainly we will attain our goal as well !

How beautiful it is that the Blessed Virgin does not set out from what She is capable of doing, what She feels like doing, what She has the talent for but from what God is asking of Her .

Her response is : “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Luke 1, 38

This thought  lead me through difficulties many times.

Very often I felt that I am too small and weak for a task , it far surpasses my capabilities . Then always Mary’s “yes” came to my mind . Lets not start out that what am I capable of doing in my own being, created from a handful of dust , but lets look at what God is asking of me.

As a priest , I have not gilded a single altar or statue , I did not build my Creator a church out of stone , but I know that through these nice young people who just matriculated through me as well God leans over to the children.

Children have to be loved  in such a way  ,that when once , from their own free will they can leave the family nest and be able to start an independent life , that with kindness we can help, but cannot manipulate in any way. They have to make their own dreams come true .
