"the one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what is pleasing to him.’ John 8,30
Does God delight in the way how I think, act ,do things ? Good question , it is worthwhile to sit down in the silence of Lent and think about all the rushing about , meddling that we do day after day , how pleasing is that to God?
This time of the year in the spring the vineyard , the fruit trees , the rose bushes , everything has to be neatly trimmed , the sick, dried up branches have to be removed , but the same way all the superfluous , barren shoots, wild offshoots have to be cut off precisely ! An orchard, a garden looks totally different after a thorough springtime, refreshing pruning ?! How many branches, offcuts are removed from our gardens during  such a work filled day !
In our lives as well many barren shoots are sapping away our life-force ! During the years so many plans, goals were formulated that were good for a draft but from some a masterpiece was created, or perhaps it will not amount to anything , that is why such dry branches we should dare to prune! These barren branches , that never bear fruit , should be cut off from the tree of our life up to the hilt,  with a definite decision so that cleansed, nice and fresh we can get underway to a fertile summer , to the fruit crop, to that task that God also finds pleasing ! He quite certainly will reward all our work if indeed He also asked us to accomplish it! If we are devoting our efforts that are not according to the will of God but for our own delight, glory the Lord of Life will never thanks us for it, rather call us to count, why we neglected the tasks entrusted to us for unnecessary things , why did not we bear lasting fruit during the course of our lives ?!
Lovingly I wish you good pruning in the real sense of the word but also in a figurative sense ! The silence of Lent is meant for this, lets dare to take in our hand the pruning scissors and lets free ourselves from all unnecessary , sick, selfish, barren relationship, task !

Picture: Lets lift our eyes upon Christ !
Again he said to them, ‘I am going away, and you will search for me, but you will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come.’ Then the Jews said, ‘Is he going to kill himself? Is that what he means by saying, “Where I am going, you cannot come”?’ He said to them, ‘You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world. I told you that you would die in your sins, for you will die in your sins unless you believe that I am he.’ They said to him, ‘Who are you?’ Jesus said to them, ‘Why do I speak to you at all? I have much to say about you and much to condemn; but the one who sent me is true, and I declare to the world what I have heard from him.’ They did not understand that he was speaking to them about the Father. So Jesus said, ‘When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will realize that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own, but I speak these things as the Father instructed me. And the one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what is pleasing to him.’ As he was saying these things, many believed in him.

Solemnity of Saint Joseph, spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary
"When Joseph awoke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him;” Matthew 1, 21
Joseph obeyed God, he acts listening to his conscience ! Not his hurt male pried , nor his desires, his self- esteem  , his greed, or other human force is controlling the patron saint of our Church , however only the love of God and fulfils the will of his Creator !! I would also like walk  on the way of Saint Joseph, following the example Saint Joseph living my life just listening to my my creator God !!

Now the birth of Jesus the Messiah took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been engaged to Joseph, but before they lived together, she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit. Her husband Joseph, being a righteous man and unwilling to expose her to public disgrace, planned to dismiss her quietly. But just when he had resolved to do this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, 'Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, for the child conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.' When Joseph awoke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him; he took her as his wife.

"no prophet is to arise from Galilee.’ John 7,53
Human pettiness ! Lets look at each other’s nationality, origin, pedigree, genetics an we are passing judgement on each other because of a lot of prejudices !! During the course of history how much pain, crying, suffering did this human narrow-mindedness cause !
Jesus is not good enough as a Jew,  the authorities are not looking at as to what He teaches, what authority, power He yields , but they are weighing up his family’s past and with an obscure human scale , they measure the Infinite Love, God bending down in our midst! Who am I or even the authorities to oversee God’s decisions ?!
Lets pray for freedom, openness , that never will anything overwrite the commandment of love in our hearts , that the antiquated human prejudices, customs , such dusty traditions that have no foundation that can be proved by common sense , do not influence our decisions !
In Lent lets not just put an end to our sins , but our sinful traditions as well ! Lets lift our hearts to our Redeeming God , to be freed from our narrow-mindedness!

When they heard these words, some in the crowd said, ‘This is really the prophet.’ Others said, ‘This is the Messiah.’ But some asked, ‘Surely the Messiah does not come from Galilee, does he? Has not the scripture said that the Messiah is descended from David and comes from Bethlehem, the village where David lived?’ So there was a division in the crowd because of him. Some of them wanted to arrest him, but no one laid hands on him.
Then the temple police went back to the chief priests and Pharisees, who asked them, ‘Why did you not arrest him?’ The police answered, ‘Never has anyone spoken like this!’ Then the Pharisees replied, ‘Surely you have not been deceived too, have you? Has any one of the authorities or of the Pharisees believed in him? But this crowd, which does not know the law—they are accursed.’ Nicodemus, who had gone to Jesus before, and who was one of them, asked, ‘Our law does not judge people without first giving them a hearing to find out what they are doing, does it?’ They replied, ‘Surely you are not also from Galilee, are you? Search and you will see that no prophet is to arise from Galilee.’ Then each of them went home.

“The one who sent me is true…” John 7, 25
The Heavenly Father sends His angel, to Mary and again He sends His beloved Holy Son to us with infinite gentleness , a redeeming power with goodness ! Our God is an active, a doer God who can move mountains , creates worlds !! Observing the great universe , the billions of galaxies and in them the innumerable solar systems seeing my own insignificance , humbly I get down on my knees ! Looking at this big world and knowing , that every but everything consists of small particles , that are made up from even smaller particles and everything is controlled, kept together , moved by, unfolding from step to step by hitherto unknown wise laws, rules!! Everything is connected , they unfold in a way that everything was already nicely packed together in the “satchel” of the big bang !
In this huge hustle and bustle here am I also, so are you too, the little man born out of a handful of dust , and I know that our creator God is not only looking after us , but has a plan , will in relation to us ! God dreamt a way for all of His children, that not only leads us into heaven, but through which we can become our Creator’s blessing hand during our existence , continuously !! God wants, that not only do we develop into a huge tree , but from the fertile seeds , around us a blessed forrest may spring from , and from the life given by it new life may spring ! Our Father loves us so much-this is the source of our human dignity -that He seats us at the same table with Him , we become His companions in the further creation of our world !!

After this Jesus went about in Galilee. He did not wish to go about in Judea because the Jews were looking for an opportunity to kill him. Now the Jewish festival of Booths was near.
But after his brothers had gone to the festival, then he also went, not publicly but as it were in secret.
Now some of the people of Jerusalem were saying, 'Is not this the man whom they are trying to kill? And here he is, speaking openly, but they say nothing to him! Can it be that the authorities really know that this is the Messiah? Yet we know where this man is from; but when the Messiah comes, no one will know where he is from.' Then Jesus cried out as he was teaching in the temple, 'You know me, and you know where I am from. I have not come on my own. But the one who sent me is true, and you do not know him. I know him, because I am from him, and he sent me.' Then they tried to arrest him, but no one laid hands on him, because his hour had not yet come.

"the Father who sent me has himself testified on my behalf” John 5, 31
The Heavenly Father stands by Jesus : “Behold my beloved Son Listen to Him!! Deep in our heart we wish that our brethren stand by our side so that we could always count on them , if needed our loved ones should always testify by us !! In today’s gospel , but throughout His entire life Jesus proclaims His infinite trust in His Heavenly Father , the Heavenly Father also stands by His Holy Son and glorifies Him !!One of the greatest achievement of the 1848 revolution was the creation of a community ! People stood by one another, women parted with their jewellery , the men accepted military service side by side ! In 1848 the people stood by one cause became companions , testified in words and in the everyday also , so that they belong together , that as the sons of a free nation could count on one another !! In 1989 the revolution overthrowing communism reached me in Dés !! Encouraged by the people I went up to the balcony of the council chamber of the day and I asked people not to sully the first hours our freedom by hatred, blood spilled out of revenge , rather let us pray for the blessed peace ! In a faltering voice I started saying the Our Father and down below the huge crowd in the bitter cold, muddy weather got down on their knees and holding each other’s hands started saying the Lord’s Prayer with me , in Romanian and Hungarian !! In vain did close to thirty years pass ,even today I start crying overcome by emotion, if I think of that event !! There we were one , we belonged together despite the guns pointed at us by the law enforcement agents from the top of the houses , we all lived through joyfully the dawn of peace of a fraternity !!
"48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” Matthew 5, 48 -says our Lord Jesus Christ ! The Father stood by the Jesus and He also stands by us in all sorts of troubles , misery !! I also think that we also have to learn to stand up for each other , testify by our brethren!! The Heavenly Father’s blessed beautiful feature should radiate from our faces and our freedom should be illuminated by the blessed, pure light of belonging together and trusting in each other!!

‘If I testify about myself, my testimony is not true. There is another who testifies on my behalf, and I know that his testimony to me is true. You sent messengers to John, and he testified to the truth. Not that I accept such human testimony, but I say these things so that you may be saved. He was a burning and shining lamp, and you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light. But I have a testimony greater than John’s. The works that the Father has given me to complete, the very works that I am doing, testify on my behalf that the Father has sent me. And the Father who sent me has himself testified on my behalf. You have never heard his voice or seen his form, and you do not have his word abiding in you, because you do not believe him whom he has sent.
‘You search the scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that testify on my behalf. Yet you refuse to come to me to have life. I do not accept glory from human beings. But I know that you do not have the love of God in you. I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me; if another comes in his own name, you will accept him. How can you believe when you accept glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the one who alone is God? Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father; your accuser is Moses, on whom you have set your hope. If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me. But if you do not believe what he wrote, how will you believe what I say?’

‘My Father is still working, and I also am working.’ John 5, 17
I admire our Creator’s style of working ! The Creator is creating in such a way , that He stays in the background , though He created everything , yet your thirst is quenched by the water in the well, the little flower sprouts from the seed, God gives life to your child through you ! With infinite tenderness He sends His angel to Mary and He discretely stays in the background ! God is present on every single page of the Holy Scripture , yet in the whole of the New Testament Jesus’ Father only speaks twice , on both occasions He speaks of His precious Holy Son: "This is my beloved Son: hear him.”
"Be perfect, therefore, as your Heavenly Father is perfect.”Matthew 5,48-says Jesus Christ! On this day today lets learn from our Heavenly Father how to work! Lets walk in the fields that we do not  tread on anything ! In a way let us be present like the sunshine , our purpose being to gently unfold the tender petals of the flower , so that it does not only shine in its exquisite rich colour, but that it also feeds delicious  nectar to the hungry bees!! Lets be like a good cook , lets carry the burdens of the hidden kitchen , but let the happy guests the joy of eating the food ! Lets try to be present as though we would not even exist, with our creative hands to hold our creations without touching them ! Our motto being: Never to hurt the bloom of the butterfly’s wing ! Lets involve everybody in the joy of creation , lets do something without action, and if we do it like this then even without presence we will be present everywhere for ever !

But Jesus answered them, ‘My Father is still working, and I also am working.’ For this reason the Jews were seeking all the more to kill him, because he was not only breaking the sabbath, but was also calling God his own Father, thereby making himself equal to God. Jesus said to them, ‘Very truly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, the Son does likewise. The Father loves the Son and shows him all that he himself is doing; and he will show him greater works than these, so that you will be astonished. Indeed, just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whomsoever he wishes. The Father judges no one but has given all judgement to the Son, so that all may honour the Son just as they honour the Father. Anyone who does not honour the Son does not honour the Father who sent him. Very truly, I tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and does not come under judgement, but has passed from death to life. ‘Very truly, I tell you, the hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. For just as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself; and he has given him authority to execute judgement, because he is the Son of Man. Do not be astonished at this; for the hour is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and will come out—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. ‘I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge; and my judgement is just, because I seek to do not my own will but the will of him who sent me.

‘Do you want to be made well?’ John 5,1
Our physical ailments we can all feel, indeed many times one tends to overreact paying  too much attention to one or more of our illnesses !!
We carry our spiritual problems around quite happily often not even noticing how deep wounds we are carrying within ourselves !!During the holy time of Lent we should become more aware of our sins , map out our inclinations to lead us astray and we should start a revolution ! Lets win our spiritual freedom !!
In the event if a poisonous snake bites us , we run to the doctor straight away and fight for our lives !! If the evil spirit deceives us and leads us into sin , we tend to lie low , thinking if our brethren cannot see our sins , then they don’t even exist ! Even though the poison of the snake is within us , our upbringing , faith does not effect it , quietly continues on with its destructive , devastating effect !! Sin does this as well , it takes away ,our flexibility, our liveliness , good mood, our hopes , faith cast in the tomorrow and finally it extinguishes all love that exists in us !! Carrying our empty , sullied , human frame we live an unproductive life !!
Lets look for a cure !! In the sacrament of reconciliation our Redeemer creates us anew !! He says "You are My Son; today I have become Your Father. “ looking into our eyes. Yes the meeting with Christ gives us life, , every sacrament is God’s creative act ! The sick man  who has been ill for thirty eight years is cured, do you believe that  there is a remedy for your sin, that God can create you anew as well ?! He is capable to give everything back that sin took away, if you ask for His love and on top of it all He lavishes you with graces of the converted man !
Convert and you will live ,

After this there was a festival of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
Now in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate there is a pool, called in Hebrew Beth-zatha, which has five porticoes. In these lay many invalids—blind, lame, and paralysed. One man was there who had been ill for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had been there a long time, he said to him, ‘Do you want to be made well?’ The sick man answered him, ‘Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; and while I am making my way, someone else steps down ahead of me.’ Jesus said to him, ‘Stand up, take your mat and walk.’ At once the man was made well, and he took up his mat and began to walk.
Now that day was a sabbath. So the Jews said to the man who had been cured, ‘It is the sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your mat.’ But he answered them, ‘The man who made me well said to me, “Take up your mat and walk.” ’ They asked him, ‘Who is the man who said to you, “Take it up and walk”?’ Now the man who had been healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had disappeared in the crowd that was there. Later Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, ‘See, you have been made well! Do not sin any more, so that nothing worse happens to you.’ The man went away and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. Therefore the Jews started persecuting Jesus, because he was doing such things on the sabbath.

Are there miracles today ? Lets see what is a miracle ?! According to the Catholic Encyclopaedia : a miracle is an event , that is created by God’s intervention suspending the order of nature. In the case of Jesus a miracle is never autotelic!
The miracles of Christ and the apostles proved that the Kingdom of God , as a salvation has arrived !
I dare to say that even today many, many miracles happen ! If I just look around my own household then I can confidently say that all that is happening around the houses of the Saint Francis Foundation is a miracle !  A miracle, because true enough we also give Jesus the three loaves of bread and the five fish , but the fact that we can assure day after day the feeding of several thousand children , whatever anybody may say is a miracle ! The children themselves are a miracle as well , because it is true that we raise them lovingly, but if I think that if we add up the teachers’, parents’ and our own efforts something does not make sense in the end results ! After adding the numbers together , the end results are much more than our work ! I think that most of the children are better than what they should be in today’s world ! Yes wherever I look I can see the 12 basketful of remnants the source which can only be the good Lord’s  intervention !The many .many nice results of our work , I credit to our Heavenly Father !
Seeing these miracles again and again I fall on my knees , humbly glorifying my Lord, my God ! But I am not only delighted because we could experience the love of Divine Providence but also because the miracles blooming around me speak of that Kingdom of God that we are all waiting for , and we are praying for the fulfilment of ! The little snowdrops the heralds of spring , the everyday miracles happening around us are all the encouraging messages of the approaching kingdom of God ! There is hope , God lives , and even today with a strong hand and outstretched arm is working for His children !
With a living faith in my heart!

When the two days were over, he went from that place to Galilee (for Jesus himself had testified that a prophet has no honour in the prophet’s own country). When he came to Galilee, the Galileans welcomed him, since they had seen all that he had done in Jerusalem at the festival; for they too had gone to the festival.
Then he came again to Cana in Galilee where he had changed the water into wine. Now there was a royal official whose son lay ill in Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went and begged him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. Then Jesus said to him, ‘Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe.’ The official said to him, ‘Sir, come down before my little boy dies.’ Jesus said to him, ‘Go; your son will live.’ The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and started on his way. As he was going down, his slaves met him and told him that his child was alive. So he asked them the hour when he began to recover, and they said to him, ‘Yesterday at one in the afternoon the fever left him.’ The father realized that this was the hour when Jesus had said to him, ‘Your son will live.’ So he himself believed, along with his whole household. Now this was the second sign that Jesus did after coming from Judea to Galilee.

"'For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.”
We cannot redeem ourselves ! The Kingdom of Heaven was closed even before the faithful ones of the Old Testament until the  redeeming death of Jesus Christ ! Our own deeds do not redeem us, not even the wisest man knows the way to eternity, because that is Christ’s free gift ! The Redeemer is not only an example, not only a teacher , not only the grand Master of life, He is much more than that , He Himself is the way, the truth and the life!  Every knee bends in front of Jesus Christ , on earth and in heaven because He is the Infinity !!
Our way of thinking used to democracy finds it difficult , that here we are not used to a person elected from among us , not about the best , the truest creation, but here we are talking about a totally different dimension ! In the redeeming , the Infinity Himself bowed down with a burning love to a speck of dust! It is important that we live decently, holy , but this in itself is not enough , what we need , we pray for so that the Lord looks at us and tells us lovingly the same what He said to the brigand on His right hand side : “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”
Lets call out with trust to Christ and love Him with a burning love ! Jesus is not in need of wishy-washy , indifferent , anonymous Christians , but as He clearly states in the ten commandments ones who consciously worship our Lord, God ! It is not enough if “you would not hurt a fly “ , you have to love , worship the living God , because He is not a henpecked husband resigned to everything or the wife constantly watching television, quite happy without you! God’s first an unavoidable commandment is that we reciprocate His infinite love towards us ! This burning love is not just called in the Old Testament , but reiterated by Jesus Christ Himself as the principal commandment of our existence:“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind!”
There is not one saint who is  just on “good terms” with Jesus, the saints loved Christ very, very much , they walked on this road of the commandment of love ! This is the only road, that leads to the kingdom of heaven ! I would like to walk on this road !
With the joy of the discovered treasure buried in the ground ,
Father Csaba
translated by dr k.e.
And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. 'For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. 'Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Those who believe in him are not condemned; but those who do not believe are condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of the only Son of God. And this is the judgement, that the light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. For all who do evil hate the light and do not come to the light, so that their deeds may not be exposed. But those who do what is true come to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that their deeds have been done in God.'

10 March is the Székely freedom’s day ! It is so easy to look for faults in others , even though most often it’s not others who put the yoke around our necks , it’s not from under others tyranny that we have to free ourselves from, but from our own sinful desires , since our families are usually not broken up by foreign forces but most of the time we do it ourselves ! Over the past 25 years I took in close on 6000 children this is how many tragedies , fates passed through my hands mainly ! And humbly I have to say that it is not other nations, nor wars , not even natural disasters that destroyed the family units , forced the children into the orphanage but practically in every single case the parents’ behaviour !
Yes in the holy time of Lent lets begin our own freedom fight, lets achieve our own independence , that in our dignity of being God’s children , we can live our lives joyfully as good sisters and brothers !May our Lord Jesus Christ, tempted in the wilderness, be our role model ! There He conquered the devil of consumption , possession, out for power ! The evil one attacked and lost , Jesus was free to start His monumental work of redemption!
1.Tell these stones to become bread and consume !!! Lets win our freedom against the temptation of consumption….How much we consume just because it catches our eyes and straight away we start devouring it ! Lets not just think of bread here but to all the rich food , alcohol , cigarettes harmful to our bodies , and everybody can keep on adding to this list ! Lets only put as much on my plate that I really need ! In my wardrobe lets only keep what I really have use for ! Lets not live just for consuming, but  only consume what I really need to live !!
2. Bow down before me and I’ll give you all this, the whole shopping centre can be yours ! The devil of possession can hit today’s man with incredible force , and we are pushing ourselves , saving, gasping for breath, buying, we make our houses into expensive museums , and we live like mummies in our pyramids , lonely ! We become slaves of greedy desires !  How many marriages , relationships, lives were lost because of some ambitious desires ?
It’s necessary, I want it, I need it and after all that the goods we obtained end up covered by dust, rusting somewhere ! How much precious time , cheer, joy would be freed up if together with Christ I could also say no to the  sinful desire of possession !
3.Stand on the highest point of the temple. , throw yourself down your angels  will lift you up in their hands, everybody will admire you , you’ll be a famous man and everybody will pay attention to you ! The Jews right up to this day are waiting for the Messiah to appear in the temple of Jerusalem !This is why the huge battles are continuing for the mount of the temple since on this holy Muslim shrine should the temple of Solomon be rebuilt so that the Jewish Messiah can manifest His glory ! Jesus says no to all these opportunities :“Be gone, Satan! “ Mt 4, 1-11 He does not want  this cheap power , He does not want to extract our love by a miracle , He desires our love that’s born  from a free heart! He is not a man made reigning Messiah , but the God of serving love , who loves and yearns for love !!
Where do I stand with the temptation of Consumption, Possession, Power ?! Am I really free of these sinful desires ?! I encourage you lovingly come and lets fight our  freedom fight , it’s Lent lets shake off the yoke of sin!!

Jesus also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous and regarded others with contempt: "Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee, standing by himself, was praying thus, 'God, I thank you that I am not like other people: thieves, rogues, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give a tenth of all my income.' But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even look up to heaven, but was beating his breast and saying, 'God, be merciful to me, a sinner!' I tell you, this man went down to his home justified rather than the other; for all who exalt themselves will be humbled, but all who humble themselves will be exalted."
Luke 18:9-14

"you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.” ... "You shall love your neighbour as yourself.”
Jesus’ words are infinitely simple , yet seeing the world, in many places we are not seeing the ripening fruit of love, but the senseless discord, the hateful avarice, endless passing of judgement tearing families , nations apart.
In the quietness of Lent lets take a look at ourselves with honesty , are we following the way of Christ’s love , or the evil spirits relentless accusation !?
To sit on the side bench and making comments certainly is very easy !! To judge vehemently the players , the judges the organisers without having done anything ourselves is very easy ! The Church herself is condemned by many ! I find it difficult to accept criticism from those who don’t even practice their faith , or perhaps seldom , on the occasion of an important feast do they go near a church, and yet staring from Pope Francis to the last altar server they are calling them to account , condemn them ! The ones passing judgement not only talk of clerics , but people working in the health professions or the education system , not to mention political figures , who at the moment are getting more than their fair share of reprimand , being found guilty. During my travels among people I find it often very disconcerting how easily some people pass judgement ! We could say that scandal-mongering, discrediting became our world’s national costume !! I would not like to put on this sticky, disgusting vestment , this judgemental, belittling habit ! I would not like wear the cast-offs of relentlessness because this is not Christ’s clothes , His wear is love: "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
If we do not want to sit on the same bench as those passing judgement lets think about as to from what , from whom does all this criticism come !!
Lets judge ourselves based on our intentions , each other on their deeds carried out ! Having tried out many things I experienced how far is the longed for, dreamt about today , from the today that became a reality !! That is why I find it very difficult to judge , because I am sure the majority of people feel the same way about about this ! When a priest says his first mass , I am sure that he would like to reach out to everybody and sanctify them ! A doctor’s wish is most certainly that he or she could discharge his patients happily in good health, home to their beloved families ! A teacher attends his class hoping he can give good marks to everyone , and that what he himself considers important , nice , true could be passed onto all those for whom he accepted his position in the education system !! Knowing many politicians I know that they started out with the most noble , purest intentions and today as well start out day after day to serve their towns, their people !!
Active love , if honest , knows its own boundaries !! The limits of our desires , dreams unfortunately do not always meet or fall short of our expectations !The sower would like to see the planted seed to grow and bring a produce a hundred, a thousand fold . Unforeseen, conditions independent from him may arise early frosts, windstorms that are capable to destroy the whole crop and the farmer down on his knees beside his land looking at the devastation that became off his tiring work !! A wiseman , consoling himself , asking for pardon for his negligence learns from his mistakes , stands up and again pushing the plough into the ground prepares it again, and asking for the help of God plants the seeds again !
Lets not judge , but love. Lets love God, love each other because we received not the commandment of judgement but of love !!

translated by dr k.e.
One of the scribes came near and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he answered them well, he asked him, 'Which commandment is the first of all?' Jesus answered, 'The first is, "Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one; you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength." The second is this, "You shall love your neighbour as yourself." There is no other commandment greater than these.' Then the scribe said to him, 'You are right, Teacher; you have truly said that "he is one, and besides him there is no other"; and "to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the strength", and "to love one's neighbour as oneself",-this is much more important than all whole burnt-offerings and sacrifices.' When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, 'You are not far from the kingdom of God.' After that no one dared to ask him any question.
