Our Lord Jesus Christ asks of us: who do you think I am? My reply is very simple: the meaning of and the very reason for my life and being is Jesus Christ. He is a safe corner where every but everything that is important to me occurs in my life ! He is that Infinity for Whom I open wide all my windows, doors. He is my Compass, Guide and Companion with Whom I set out on my way day after day! Jesus Christ is the aim, the reason and basis of all my dialogues and example. In my sermons I seek to give voice to His words. He is the One to Whom I turn to for advice. He is my ideal in my relationships with people. In teaching the children , I would very much like to find the open, honest, trusting voice with which He spoke, addressed His friends and mankind. I seek to make His way my own such that I could follow Him with a childlike trust, if need be, even to Golgotha! Despite all my fallibilities: very, very humbly I say that Jesus Christ for me is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the Master, the Goal, the All!

Jesus’s contemporaries are looking for an opportunity to meet Him - even the sinner Herod!! Yet, am I looking for the opportunity to meet Him in the serenity of prayer? How much time do I spend praying, in quiet reflections, contemplations? If we are looking for the Heavenly Father we are sure to find Him!

Earlier in my life I sought to encounter a happy man. In my quest, I came to realise that only those who are searching for God and living in His vicinity are truly joyful.

You received a very short commandment, says Saint Augustine. Love and then do what you want. If you remain silent, do it out of love. If you shout or chide, do that also out of love. If you show consideration for somebody do that too out of love. Love should always be part of you, and from this root only good will come .

There is a way , Christ Himself is the way, the truth , the life ! And this way is feasible ! Everybody understands the language of love, goodness ! I would like more and more people to discover this way for their journey !
It would be very important to set out in Christ’s name on the way of dialogue , healing love , conversion! Our world will either find its Creator God , and humbly open up in front of Christ knocking on our door, taking hold trustingly of His hand wanting to guide us kind-heartedly or else will perish in raving hatred !

For me, man is a miracle created by God. I believe that that the image of God lives even in the most downhearted and broken of men. Our duty as Christians is to free those around us and enable them to live the freedom granted to all of God’s children .

Just as I am not ashamed to sit at the family table when I am hungry to nourish my body, I should not feel ashamed to sit at a spiritual table when my soul feels empty, my faith diminished, or my hope has dimmed. It is good for every family have to their own ceremony, a blessed corner in their home where they can pray together regularly or alone as needed. This is not some old-fashioned practice, but a practical way to build a holy community and a token of our highest hopes.

Tranquility, self-control! These are wonderful gifts offered to all of us by our Lord Jesus Christ . There are times, when it is impossible to solve, push away concerns, troubles when only by praying, by trusting in God can one carry the cross , to put up with difficulties , humiliations, suffering. Perhaps we finished up in such a hopeless or disastrous , situation from our own or others’ fault, but if we learnt from our Master to preserve our calmness and our inner peace then it is certain , that we will discover in amazement , that for the man walking on the path of love and hope there is always a tomorrow .
