Many, many things have been stopped , our horizontal movements are being restricted , but we also have to know that the Kingdom of Heaven is not only open for all of us , but is within our reach !! Our meetings with each other will become less frequent . but our togetherness with our Creator will deepen , since prayer has not been suspended ! !

God saw it fit ,to reveal His innermost face, the hidden beautiful features of His being from the arms of Mary . For our Church the Infinite God is most fully shown by Mary and the invisible triune God revealed through the Blessed Virgin Mother , tells us more about the infinite love , goodness than whole Old Testament put together !

To get down to the level with merciful goodness , to teach , to heal , the ones in trouble , the downtrodden is not only a beautiful , virtuous divine feature but is pure elation, such joyfulness that where neither moth nor rust destroys that will last for eternal life . When Jesus crucified suspended between heaven and earth , when deserted by all , unwanted by all with the exception of Mary and John.How good it would be , if we could still love each other when they have no power , dignity left ! If those despised and looked down by all , how great it would be if on their own Good Friday they would discover Mary in me !

He was like any of us , He ate, slept , rejoiced , experienced fear, suffered temptation and felt pain . He does not take on our humanity like a garment , but becomes a true man. I believe and profess the teaching of the two thousand year old Church , Jesus Christ is the Son of God , the true God became incarnate as a true man, and His human heart perfectly reflects the heart of God.

Lets do some soul searching ,, who am I, who do I resemble in the crowd following Jesus ?! The chief priest asking for the death penalty , the hand washing Pilate , the crowd shouting “Crucify Him”- , the lamenting women or the empathic Veronica , or perhaps the helping Simon of Cyrene ? In this never-ending Good Friday who am I ? An executioner carrying out a sentence , the left brigand with a heart hardened by hatred , or Saint John embracing Mary ? I have to choose I have to make a decision , because even if by not deciding I already have since I become part of the of the gawping crowd , to whom Jesus only says "weep for yourselves “. Yes Christ wept for us at the walls of Jerusalem , as He could see that they are drifting towards destruction on the way of indifference . Being aware of my own weakness I choose Christ not Barabas and humbly I stand by the side of the condemned carrying His cross , not in the midst of the condemners intoxicated by their own so called “ right” “truth” . You also have to decide ! Willingly step on the path of compassion , love , together with the right brigand begging for Christ’s mercy !
