Read more: Holy mass and reflection from last night...On this beautiful day of Advent we invite as the protector and champion  of peace , Pope Saint Leo I (The Great) ! He lived in rather turbulent times , involving pagans , heretics, high priests hatching  plots internally , however with great humility , humbleness but great determination starts a dialogue and with wise reasoning carries out satisfactorily  what is needed in interest of his communities !! Let us ask for his help and learn from him to fight for our own rights !!!

Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give.” My Lord, You call us all, since with You every day is black Friday You would like to present everybody with Your graces  to the fullest! I pray for courage , give us strength, wisdom that we enter the “treasury” filled to the brim with Your gifts, and all that we require for fulfilling our duties  we grab by our “hands “ of faith , so that reborn ,enriched by Your gifts , we ourselves become gifts , Your living blessings here on this earth!!

Picture depicts ,a kind volunteer reading a bedtime story to our children.!
Jesus went around to all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom, and curing every disease and illness.
At the sight of the crowds, his heart was moved with pity for them because they were troubled and abandoned, like sheep without a shepherd.
Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest.”  Then he summoned his Twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits to drive them out and to cure every disease and every illness.
Jesus sent out these Twelve after instructing them thus, “Go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
As you go, make this proclamation: ‘The Kingdom of heaven is at hand.’
Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, drive out demons.
Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give.”
Mt 9:35B-10:1, 5a, 6-8

"Do you believe I can do this?’ -asks our Lord Jesus Christ from us  ?
To Your question my answer is a definite yes! On the one hand I believe, that the beautiful desires planted in our hearts ,  can be brought to fruition, even on this earth !! On the other hand I also believe that You are capable, in bringing  this project called earth- in our world made noisy due the sounds of war- to a peaceful ending and lead us to Your wonderful table , where in the company of Your saints in peace, joy, creative love, we can be with You for ever !!

The picture : in Budapest ,next to the The Saint Joseph church of Káposztásmegyer  is this nice statue ! I liked it very much that the children put hat and shawl to Jesus and Joseph, I also thought in giving a hand in their work! It is quite certain that God also needs your help as well !
As Jesus went on his way two blind men followed him shouting, 'Take pity on us, son of David.' And when Jesus reached the house the blind men came up to him and he said to them, 'Do you believe I can do this?' They said, 'Lord, we do.' Then he touched their eyes saying, 'According to your faith, let it be done to you.' And their sight returned. Then Jesus sternly warned them, 'Take care that no one learns about this.' But when they had gone away, they talked about him all over the countryside.

" ‘Not everyone who says to me, “Lord, Lord”, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only one who does the will of my Father in heaven.”
I am praying on my knees to You, to send labourers  for the harvest , ones who not only stand around and chat, being smart, next to the ripe field of wheat but those who knuckle down to work hard ! Lord save us from the chatty, opinionated Christians knowing everything better !! Help us to recognize Your holy Will and help us to accomplish that with quiet , enduring work, wherever You placed us ! Help us to be the carriers of the living hope,  mountain moving faith and the carriers of blazing love on this earth !!

‘Everyone then who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not act on them will be like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell—and great was its fall!’

Wednesday 30 November 2016-The feast of Saint Andrew the apostle with the Saint Andrew cross.
My Lord, You are willing so easily to approach trustingly  Andrew and the others, ask directly, honestly  them , but us as well to do things of  incredibly great consequences and behold there were and even today there are those who, even if stumbling but with a pure heart say “yes” to Your Holy Majesty and embark upon the way to fulfill Your will!!
I pray today , that we also dare to trust each other , we dare to ask honestly with a pure heart  and dare to look each other in the eye saying yes to these requests ! Grant us our Lord that our young people have the courage to turn to each other with love and either in marriage or other decisions that have consequences for a lifetime to say yes to these requests, holding each other’s hand , according to Your will embark on new roads, dreaming about a better world, have the courage to start new endeavours , making the tomorrows , the nice plans  to become a reality !!

As he was walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon who is called Peter, and his brother Andrew, casting a net into the sea; they were fishermen.19 He said to them, "Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men."20 At once they left their nets and followed him. 21 He walked along from there and saw two other brothers, James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John. They were in a boat, with their father Zebedee, mending their nets. He called them, 22 and immediately they left their boat and their father and followed him.
