My Lord, contrary to the many the voices  of the doomsday merchants I believe in the final victory of love as You proclaimed !! Unfortunately we are still  a very long way away from the Kingdom of God built on goodness, mercy ,this  is the reason why I am still willing , feeling reassured, to make longterm plans , take on children , plant trees, build houses , establish   schools. ! I feel ,see that You are guiding our world with firm hands , through the conscience of millions of people, gently, world reforming decisions are born , everything around us is taking shape , being formed !! I believe that all that You, our God and  Creator started magnanimously , You are going to bring it with infinite wisdom, never-ending  mercy to a good ending !!
With trust facing the future ,

Jesus told his disciples a parable.
“Consider the fig tree and all the other trees.
When their buds burst open, you see for yourselves and know that summer is now near; in the same way, when you see these things happening, know that the Kingdom of God is near.
Amen, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have taken place.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.”
Luke 21, 29-33

Read more: Thursday Evening in Déva…Father Bernardin organized a very special celebration for world peace in Déva .., the afternoon/  evening started off by reciting the Rosary , followed by a holy mass and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. The church was filled to capacity with the children of the Saint Francis Foundation , families and not  only the parishioners from Déva  but also from Pécska, Csernakeresztúr came along. Fathers Bernardin and Leander concelebrated  the mass , Father Jani  was hearing confessions all evening . The beautiful music , singing  was provided by Melinda Dumitrescu , who also plays the violin beautifully accompanied by Roland Patzleiner who plays the keyboard. Both of them are based in Medugorje from where they travel around evangelizing the world by their music and songs. The evening was very intimate and beautiful.
I am convinced  it was pleasing to our Heavenly Father and to our Blessed Lady of Hungary whose intercession we asked for , from the 300 years old church named in Her honour, for  the blessed peace in our midst, our people , our country and for our world bleeding from numerous wounds.

My Lord , I do not dare to comment  on Your teachings regarding the final times ! I am convinced once all will be fulfilled then everything will become clear to us, but until that time if You help me carry out my duties , I’ll  console a few children, ,I’ll plant a few flowers , saplings and I will tell many, many jokes here and there, feel good stories , and I ‘ll proclaim with a childlike trust  Your infinite merciful goodness!!
My mind is at rest , because I believe , that not only my own fate is in good hands , but also the destiny of our world is in Your protective, blessed hand !!

Jesus said to his disciples: 'When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then you must realise that it will soon be laid desolate. Then those in Judaea must escape to the mountains, those inside the city must leave it, and those in country districts must not take refuge in it. For this is the time of retribution when all that scripture says must be fulfilled.
Alas for those with child, or with babies at the breast, when those days come! 'For great misery will descend on the land and retribution on this people. They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive to every gentile country; and Jerusalem will be trampled down by the gentiles until their time is complete.
'There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars; on earth nations in agony, bewildered by the turmoil of the ocean and its waves; men fainting away with terror and fear at what menaces the world, for the powers of heaven will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
When these things begin to take place, stand erect, hold your heads high, because your liberation is near at hand.'
Luke 21, 20-28

My  Lord, I believe that our existence is open towards Your infinite love, goodness wisdom !! I believe that despite all difficulties, Your plans with us and our World  will be fulfilled !!
When ? I do not know ,I only know that it is worthwhile to persevere , to walk on Your narrow, steep path , it is worthwhile to stand up as often as needed for Your holy name even if that is very difficult! I ask for faith for myself and my brethren , so that nothing can deter me from the way of love and mercy, at the end of which it is quite certain that You await us !!

While some people were speaking about how the temple was adorned with costly stones and votive offerings, Jesus said, “All that you see here– the days will come when there will not be left a stone upon another stone that will not be thrown down.”
Then they asked him, “Teacher, when will this happen?
And what sign will there be when all these things are about to happen?”
He answered,
“See that you not be deceived,
for many will come in my name, saying,
‘I am he,’ and ‘The time has come.’
Do not follow them!
When you hear of wars and insurrections,
do not be terrified; for such things must happen first,
but it will not immediately be the end.”
Then he said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
There will be powerful earthquakes, famines, and plagues from place to place; and awesome sights and mighty signs will come from the sky.”
Luke 21, 5-11

Very often I feel that my strength, talent, opportunity is so modest that they are inadequate for me to stand in front of You my Lord ! In today’s gospel passage the two small coins of the poor widow give me strength , courage ,so that  even with my own modest means I can follow You , despite my insignificance to serve You !! It is good to know my Lord that with You there is no “too much “ or "too little” , important or insignificant because the only thing that matters how much love, devotion , goodness do we possess ! For You our endeavor is a small seed , that by Your divine dispensation will grow to become a very large tree !!! I ask You lovingly , help me my Lord , that without counting costs I, we dare to embark on the path of love and there where I,we happen to be carry out the tasks that Your Holy Majesty entrusted us with !!

When Jesus looked up he saw some wealthy people putting their offerings into the treasury and he noticed a poor widow putting in two small coins.
He said, “I tell you truly, this poor widow put in more than all the rest; for those others have all made offerings from their surplus wealth, but she, from her poverty, has offered her whole livelihood.”
Luke 21, 1-4
