I believe that our king Saint Stephen did not choose in vain our Blessed Lady as the Patron Saint of Hungary, for the Hungarian nation .
I believe that we are all destined one way or another to become like the lesser versions of Mary , fathers , mothers , children, adults with a Marian spirit. Mary is never there when Jesus carries out a remarkable deed: she He multiplies the bread , calms the sick, or brings the dead back to life . But Mary is there when people talk about Jesus that He is unbalanced . The Mother of God is also there on the way to the cross . How good it would be if we would also posses this “Marian” feature : if we would be there where the need is the greatest ! To hold the hand of the one, whose hand is not held by anyone .

For a friar it is not the freedom from something that is essential, but to become free for something else . It is not the giving up something that is the essence but the fact that by this I can serve the living God , the entirety and that He can posses me in His love .

Through prayer there is a big question in us, do I believe that the one who gave me the gift of hearing , can He hear my voice , my thoughts and He who gave me the ability to speak is He capable of addressing me , to talk to me ?? If I can answer yes to these questions with faith , then the rest is just a question of details , as it is quite certain that He who stands at the door and knocks , will also hear my no matter how timid “yes” will enter, step into my life !! In the knowledge of my insignificance with a child like trust I should invite God into my life , because if I set out with God on the way of a dialogue , then sooner or later I’ll reach my goal in the arms of my Creator !

If one knowing and willingly abandons the way of love , steps on the way of anger and hatred , turns away deliberately from the right way then one commits a sin.
We can sin through our thoughts, words , deeds and omission , neglect . If one goes down into a cellar , basement is cold and afraid in the dark , cannot see the beautiful colours , does not feel right alone then the lack of light because the sun is angry and has to be pacified to shine again but simply one just has to go out outside . The sun always pours out the light , warmth even if it’s overcast by the clouds . The bad deeds, decisions are the ones that cast a shadow over us .

Because whoever is the least amongst you , -says our Lord Jesus Christ- is the greatest . I wonder where I stand, do I desire to be the least there where I live ? Can I accept it if people do not regard me highly, if smilingly they step over me and they don’t take into consideration my wishes ??
Our father Saint Francis says “ God’s servants cannot see how much patience , humility dwells in them- as long as everything happens according to their will . When the time comes that one will have to try to please those who act against that , the degree of patience and humility one can display, is actually what is dwelling in one’s heart and no more “ Lets set out deliberately on that way that does not lead one’s steps towards power, might , but to service undertaken out of love , let us also remember that the more people’s worries I can shoulder s humbly, with enduring work the greater I'll appear in God’s eyes! The less I worry about myself , the more love and goodness will be in my life and it is much more likely that God will find a home in my heart !!

The Son of Man goes up on the Golgotha ! Lets engrave in our hearts that all of us have to go up on the Golgotha, everybody on their own mountain of Skulls !! It could be old age , an unexpected accident , or carrying the challenging cross of a relentless illness we go up on the Golgotha , but what is certain that in everyone’s life the Good Friday, the suffering , death will come !! No matter how strong we are , how brave we are that day will come when falling on our knees , carrying our cross we will be very lonely, down-and-out !! That is why that we should be living, working, praying as though the only purpose in our lives would be the preparation to get ready for this way of the cross !!
May God grant us , that our Good Friday too , would be followed by the dawn of Easter Sunday , if in our lives as well. life would be triumphant over death , love over hatred !! That is what we should be praying for , hold on firmly to our Lord God’s hand , and with trust our companions’ hands too!! Together we can win !!

Who do you think I am ? Asks our Lord Jesus Christ from me , from you ! My reply is very simple : the meaning, the reason of my life, of my being is Jesus Christ , a safe corner where every but everything that is important to me , occurs in my life ! He is that Infinity for whom I open all my windows, doors wide , He is the compass , the way for me and the Companion also with Whom I set out on my way day after day ! In the everyday ,Jesus Christ is the aim , the reason, basis of all my dialogues and example as well , in all my sermons I would like to speak through His words and He is the One I would like to turn to for advice , for everything ! He is my ideal in my relation with people , in teaching the children , I would very much like to find that open , honest voice filled with trust , with which He spoke , addressed His friends , mankind ! I would like if His way would be my way , if I could follow Him with a childlike trust if need be even to the Golgotha ! Despite all my fallibilities very, very humbly I say that Jesus Christ for me is the Alpha and the Omega , the beginning and the end , the Master , the Goal , the All !
I urge you to decide for yourselves - your answer to Jesus’ question !
